星空无限传媒 Lions Defeat Hudson Valley Vikings
at Homecoming & Alumni Day
Special Guests in Attendance: Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick Ryder, Legislator Laura Schaefer and Former Green Bay Packer and College Alumnus Gary Brown
Garden City, NY 鈥� On Saturday, November 5, 星空无限传媒 celebrated Homecoming & Alumni Day at Mitchel Field. The 星空无限传媒 Lions defeated the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings in a shutout game 48-0. Hundreds of alumni, faculty, administration, staff and supporters were in attendance to help make Homecoming a truly splendid event.
The following guests contributed to the Orange and Navy spirit of the day:
- Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman and Police Commissioner and 星空无限传媒 alumnus Patrick Ryder threw the ceremonial first football toss (see image below).
- Nassau County Legislator Laura Schaefer, who also studied at 星空无限传媒, sang the National Anthem surrounded by the 星空无限传媒 Lions Cheerleaders (see image below).
- Super Bowl champion and 星空无限传媒 alumnus (Class of 1991) Gary Brown 鈥� who played for the Green Bay Packers 鈥� cheered on his alma mater and shared his Super Bowl ring with 星空无限传媒 Interim President and alumna (Class of 1986) Dr. Maria Conzatti (see image below).
Prior to kick-off, 56 星空无限传媒 faculty and staff 鈥� who were hand-selected by student-athletes for recognition at the game 鈥� were honored for their dedication, support and mentoring. The day was capped by several performances by the College鈥檚 cheerleading team and half-time recognition of 星空无限传媒鈥檚 national championship men鈥檚 lacrosse teams from 2021 and 2022.
