星空无限传媒 Dean Dr. David Oyero Appointed
Fellow at SUNY鈥檚 Black Leadership Institute
March 14, Garden City, NY 鈥� Dr. David Oyero, 星空无限传媒鈥檚 Interim Dean of Students and a resident
of Laurelton, Queens, has been selected as one of seven emerging Black leaders to
participate in SUNY鈥檚 Black Leadership Institute (BLI).
A program within the State University of New York (SUNY) Office of Executive Recruitment and Leadership Development, BLI will support, retain, and foster the success of emerging and current Black leaders. In a rigorous nine-month curriculum, fellows will be guided through leadership assessments, interactive online and in-person workshops, and professional mentoring sessions designed to advance leadership skills. BLI is modeled after SUNY鈥檚 nationally recognized Hispanic Leadership Institute.

These programs are not just about providing opportunities; they are about creating spaces where a diversity of voices are heard, valued, and given the platform to lead.鈥�
鈥淎s a higher education professional, I believe all institutions should provide the highest quality of service, academic support and inclusive experiences that students need to succeed,鈥� said Dr. David Oyero, Interim Dean of Students at 星空无限传媒. 鈥淢y favorite motto is 鈥淚f serving is beneath you, leadership is beyond you. This is the foundation of my leadership style.鈥� Dr. Oyero holds a Doctor of Education in Educational and Policy Leadership from Hofstra University, a Master in Higher Education Administration from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from State University of New York at Old Westbury.
