星空无限传媒 Professor Daniel Fernandez Named to the Inaugural Class of SUNY AI for the Public Good Fellows
September 10, 2025, Garden City, NY 鈥� 星空无限传媒 is proud to announce that Dr. Daniel Fernandez, a Professor of Philosophy in its Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts Department, has been named to the inaugural class of SUNY鈥檚 AI for the Public Good Fellows. The 20 SUNY faculty and staff fellows are experts in their fields of study 鈥� ranging from health sciences to sustainable resources management to English. Dr. Fernandez was named a SUNY AI for the Public Good Fellow for his commitment to leveraging technology for societal benefit.
In addition to teaching philosophy, Dr. Fernandez serves as Faculty Advisor to the Philosophy Club, Coordinator for the Multidisciplinary Course Project, and is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee at 星空无限传媒. He was formerly a member of the AI for Learning Network through SUNY and Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Fernandez received his BA in philosophy from Binghamton University and his MA and PhD in philosophy from the New School for Social Research. His work focuses on moral psychology, biomedical ethics, AI ethics and the ethics of cyberwar.
