ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ Breast Cancer Awareness Expo & Walk October 20
Garden City, NY – ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ is proud to host the ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ Breast Cancer Awareness Expo & Walk on Thursday, October 20 at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Physical Education Complex.The one-mile walk — which is open to the public and has a suggested donation of $5 — is sponsored by the Design Innovators Club, the Intramural Well-Being Programs, the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department and the Cure for Cancer Club. Its 11:30 a.m. expo features T-shirts and refreshments. The walk itself begins at 12:00 noon. Profits from the event will be donated to Mid-Nassau Lend a Helping Hand, Inc. (LAHH). The focus of LAHH is to provide customized services to patients to relieve some of the stress and worry a cancer diagnosis and ensuing treatment creates.
