"Coming out of high school I was told by many of my teachers that SUNY Nassau was a smart financial decision. The education is amazing and the campus is beautiful, but what locked it in for me was that my mother went to SUNY Nassau. Seeing how my mother juggled school and her personal life and how understanding the College staff were attracted me. This community is a family. They support you because they want you to succeed.
One of my favorite memories this year was the "Oscars" celebration. Connecting with my peers, celebrating the end of the semester and just enjoying ourselves and having fun was indeed a night to remember, especially since we couldn't do things like that for quite a while during the pandemic.
Growing up in a multicultural home -- my mother is Moroccan and my father is Bengali -- has allowed me to look at things from a global perspective. Through my travels, I have come to appreciate many cultures. I have seen the struggles of developing countries and the riches of first-world nations. Because of my upbringing and my experiences, I have always wanted to make a change on a global level. I believe I can do so by pursuing a career in international relations. I hope that such a career will bring me further joy from learning about the differences there are in the world as well.
I have committed to New York University, where I will major in international relations. After one year at NYU, I hope to spend one semester in Shanghai, China, and another in Seoul, South Korea. After that, I aspire to attend Columbia University for law school and ultimately to work at the United Nations with the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs as an ambassador or diplomat."

Stanley Pan
I served in the United States Navy in Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, II and at Camp Pendleton with the 5th Marines. I was also deployed to Okinawa, Japan twice. Stateside, I knew that 星空无限传媒 has a reputation for being very military friendly, and when I got here, it was true.
